For me, 1995 was the transition from the Grunge revolution into the almost as good Alternative movement. Grunge made its last stand with Alice in Chains' gloomy self titles record. But 1995 will be remember as the year that had many successful alternative and post grunge albums. On the alternative side there was Mellon Collie by Smashing Pumpkins, Morning Glory by Oasis, Jagged Little Pill by Alanis, The Bends by Radiohead. Post Grunge was still pretty good at this time with Silverchair's Frogstomp, Collective Soul's self titled record, and Better Than Ezra's Deluxe.

I have to say this list is great, it takes me back. I was in 8th and going into 9th grade in 1995, and I am proud that this is the music I heard on the radio growing up. I know I'm biased, but man, the quality of those songs is amazing. Ah, memories....
