What about the greatest song ever made by the greatest band ever created??? I'm talking about Hey Jude by the Beatles. How does that not make this list?
ROAR! IP:219.89.69.29 | 2008-07-13 00:07:06

The Doors.
DG - patterns IP:67.82.112.78 | 2008-04-13 18:59:02
this list was very similar to your classic rock list but i agree with the above it needs doors on it.
Not in the navy - You Must Correct Action IP:210.86.45.253 | 2008-04-20 21:54:26
You must have forgotten about the village poeple? "YMCA" and "In The Navy" were huge hits.

Where are the Doors at?
The Buggles - Video Killed The Radio Star IP:125.236.44.50 | 2008-06-11 17:15:49
I personally won't agree with the list completely but we both have the same number one as far as the 70s are concerned. YEAH!

You are however, missing some of the greatests songs from the 70s like:

My Sharona by The Knack
That's The Way I Like It by KC & The Sunshine Band
Tragedy by The BeeGees

And what about The Buggles?

Video Killed The Radio Star

Oh, and Words by Sharon O'Neill
Anonymous IP:219.89.11.146 | 2008-07-07 02:28:05
you've got staying alive by beegees here, so where is tragedy?
Anonymous IP:72.70.13.184 | 2008-08-05 13:04:16
No Joy Division? No Modern Lovers? No David Bowie? No Clash? No Lou Reed? No Television? This list is pitiful. Did Rolling Stone sponsor it? Honestly though, if it was a list of "Top 50 70's songs I hear the most on mix stations/the supermarket" it would be REALLY accurate.
Garo - This list is ok...I guess IP:152.132.8.195 | 2008-08-18 12:50:20
Yeah.. This list would be a nice shuffle on an i-pod or mp3...you get the idea. I lived in the south for a while and although I think Freebird is an all right song for what it is, I know some people that would take exception that it didn't make the list.
